Total trip duration is 9 hours. The bus leaves from central Paris.

The Palace of Versailles was the residence of the Kings of France Louis XIV, Louis XV and Louis XVI from 1682 until the French Revolution in 1789. The tour guide will help understand the architecture, decorations, works of art as you walk through the palace (it has over 700 rooms!). Visit the Coronation Room and the Queen's Bedroom, once occupied by Queen Marie Antoinette. Spend time at the Hall of Mirrors, designed by the famous architect Jules Hardouin-Mansart. It is lit by 17 windows and 350 mirrors, with breathtaking views of the palace's beautiful gardens.

Afterwards, spend some time in the famous Versailles gardens that dates back to 1661, when Louis XIV commissioned the gardener André Le Nôtre to layout the grounds for the gardens. There are some 200 statues in the gardens. Fountains and beautiful flowerbeds are an integral part of the landscape.

Then enjoy lunch in a restaurant not far from the Grand Canal. The second part of your visit includes an afternoon tour of the Small and Large Trianons and the Queen's Hamlet. Your guide will take you on a tour of the royal family's secondary residences, including the large Trianon Palace of Versailles, a palace built for Louis XIV.

Please note:
